It has been set in a laughing position with its semicircle of wooded hills, with its hilltop headlands, with its townships that blossom among the stains \u201c(Edmondo De Amicis, Alle Porte d\u2019Italia)<\/p>\n

Cumiana is the commune of Europe with several fractions, one ninety, scattered on an area of \u200b\u200b60 sq. Km.<\/p>\n

Its territory extends for 800 hectares the Provincial Park of the Three Dents and the Freidour; it includes the pre-Alpine circle surrounding the valley<\/p>\n

starting at 640 m. s.l.m. up to 1343 m. At the chapel of the Three Dentied at 1445 m. of Freidor Mountain.
\nWide spaces and wide valleys capture an almost unthinkable naturalness so short of the Turin metropolitan area and that it is surprisingly intense<\/p>\n

And pleasantly those who come for the first time to this territory, made of rocks, plants, water and wildlife.<\/p>\n

The scenario is always different, with shades of colors, scents and lights that tend to evolve continuously,<\/p>\n

In fact the different exposure of the slopes and the extension to the altitude of the territory make it possible to create multiple situations simultaneously.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

This network has added hiking routes over time and, more recently, forest tracks have been opened.
\nThe area offers excellent opportunities for alpine hikers, and the quality of many ski tracks makes it particularly suitable for alpine riding and mountain biking.<\/p>\n

The monuments of Cumiana testify to a rich history that goes from longobard domination to the Signoria degli Acaja, collateral branch of the Savoy,<\/p>\n

The Canalis, the French occupation of the 16th and 17th centuries, and the Marsaglie castle remembers the famous battle against the Piedmontese troops.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
